High School Entrance Exam Prep
Group Classes
Our HSPT group classes begin in August and continue until the high school entrance exams are administered at the beginning of December. We limit our group sizes to a maximum of 12 students. In this way, we are able to offer individualized instruction and can help personalize each student’s test-taking strategy.
Private Instruction
Students begin by taking a full-length practice exam at SMP. Using this information, a personalized lesson plan is created. All of our instructors are trained in SMP Tutoring's proven test-taking strategies.
Full-Length HSPT Prep Course - 38 hours
Our HSPT Prep Course starts with a full-length practice test. We then meet weekly for two-hour sessions, following a structured lesson plan that exposes students to strategies for each of the question-types found on this exam. Two more practice tests are administered during the course to make note of progress and identify areas that still require improvement.
